The legality of sampling depends on how your local laws treat the videos as well as how the creator treats the material. But if by "published" you mean work from a professional outfit like Disney or whatever then you're right to avoid it. I'm curious about the technical side of this as well.įrom a legal standpoint, something posted on Youtube is probably deemed to be "published" regardless of the professionalism of the creator.
